Brief history(genealogy) of Amani district
Stage1:St Timothy begin as a preaching station/district under one elder David Kianduma
Stage2:Divided
into 3 districts: Amani, Upendo and Baraka.
Stage3:Amani
was the smallest under elder Humphrey Kimathi
Stage4:Amani
give birth to first child Tumaini
Stage5:Amani
give birth to 2nd born twins boys:Neema and Uaminifu
Stage6:Tumaini
son of Amani give birth to Fadhili
Stage7:Amani
give birth to Shalom Church.
Up to there
can you see the hand of God in this district?
Now what is the biblical meaning of 7?
Biblically,
Number 7 is the foundation of the word of
God, it is a number of perfection and completeness.
Therefore,
this church foundation will be the word of
God, like the
church of Berea.
Acts 17:11 The people of
Berea were more open-minded than the people of Thessalonica. They were very
willing to receive God's message, and every day they carefully
examined the Scriptures to see if what Paul said was true.
Foundation:
is very important
since it is the base where everything is built upon.
In 2019, I
decided to walk through the bible from genesis to revelation, and one thing I
noted is this, the heart of God is on the needy, widows, orphans
and the downtrodden, if you touch the
lives of those, you put a smile on the face of God-Just imagine what God can do
back after you put a smile on his face.
By the way you can’t take care of the needy
without love.
So, what is
love? Love is a verb/Action, telling someone I love you, is not good enough,
let your action show.
Definition of love according to the
bible

Corinthians 13:4-5
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does
not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not
self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
In other words, the love demonstrated by Christ’s followers will be a
convincing proof for non-believers that the message of the gospel is uniquely
true.
